The DS-Line 2 Pro converter allows performing a scan of the very low frequency (VLF) range. Bugging devices can use these frequencies to transmit acoustics through any wire out of a room or building. A standard receiver cannot detect these bugging devices as it does not cover the VLF range and cannot be connected directly to a telephone or an AC wire. The optional DS-Line 2 Pro converter converts the VLF range up to the range covered by the receiver and performs voltage regulation — this enables the receiver to process and demodulate VLF signals.
Main features of the DS-Line 2 Pro
- Converts the VLF range into the frequencies which can be received and inspected in the DigiScan EX software
- Scans frequencies in the range of the 500 Hz — 11.95 MHz
- Finds audio modulations and other signals on the wires (AC/telephone/alarm)
- Finds IR (infra-red) beams and checks for the presence of the audio modulations and other signals (the IR-LINE 2 probe is supplied separately)
- Inspects electromagnetic waves near objects in order to find hidden electronics (the MLP-LINE 2 probe is supplied separately)
- Allows the operator to listen to the sound on the line in a direct mode (audio frequencies)
- Has 3 antenna inputs and 5 sockets for the probes
- Is powered and controlled from the DSC-002 via the supplied cable
